I have been a nurse in an emergency room for almost twenty years, and we see injury and illness every single day. I have been in the middle of a quiet shift, when all of a sudden a critical patient will be brought in and we will be working nonstop for the next several hours. Part of my job is to assess the patients that are brought in, and to get a full set of vital signs and report them to the doctor. We have portable Pulse Oximeters that we use for checking oxygen levels, and I also check blood pressure. It is great to have the tools I need!
