Mom Happy With Daughter’s Success

January 27th, 2010 by admin

I was devastated when my child’s kindergarten teacher told me that she was not ready to go on the the first grade. She said that her reading level was no where it needed to be to succeed. From a parent’s point of view that was just unacceptable to me. I felt like I had failed my child miserably. The next day I enrolled her in a tutoring program that used the phonics program, which I heard many good things about. My daughter had five months before the school year ended to work on her reading. Before that time came, she was where she needed to be with time to spare.
